Quick Meal Tips for Busy Mompreneurs - Homemade Hot Pockets

I have 3 boys and 1 girl. There ages are 19, 16, 8, and 7. I am a wife, mom, and wahm business and sales coach teaching womenpreneurs such as myself how to make a lucrative living selling their products and services the non-car salesy way! Cooking for my family is something I like to do. Homemade hot pockets is a household favorite. 

 

Homemade Hot Pockets

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury biscuits (Homestyle)
  • Butter (softened)

  • Ground Beef

  • Taco Seasoning

  • Shredded Cheese (Cheddar & Mozzarella)

  • Shredded Lettuce

  • Sour Cream

  • Taco Sauce

  • Pepperoni Slices

  • Oregano seasoning

  • Spaghetti sauce (Ragu garlic & onion flavor)

Directions for Ground Beef

  1. Ground and season beef with taco seasoning as normal,Separate biscuit from roll, flattened with roller pin or any smooth, clean, and circle object

  2. Lightly spread softened butter on flat biscuit

  3. Add 1 to 2 tbsp of seasoned meat to flatten buttered biscuit

  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over meat

  5. Fold biscuit in half

  6. Squeeze ends together

  7. Lightly butter top of "Hot Pocket"

  8. Baked until golden brown

  9. Once done, take out and layer the hot pocket with your favorite taco toppings

Directions for Hot Pocket

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

  1. Flattened biscuit with roller pin or any smooth, clean, and circle object

  2. Spread spaghetti sauce covering entire flattened biscuits

  3. Add 1 ounce of sliced pepperoni to inside of pocket

  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over pepperoni

  5. Two shakes of oregan

  6. Fold biscuit in half

  7. Squeeze ends together

  8. Lightly butter top of "Hot Pocket"

  9. Baked until golden brown

  10. Take out and enjoy
