Qushika Lucas City of Bennettsville Back to school

Hi, I'm Qushika Lucas, 35 year-old, proud wife & mother of one. Our son is 13 years old. We are really enjoying the beginning of his teenage years! I serve as a CSR/Cashier at the City of Bennettsville in Bennettsville, SC. When I am not working or spending time with loved ones, you will find me shopping, decorating, or traveling. Having simple meals are great for our family. This spaghetti recipe is simple and quick. I am sure we all have a special spaghetti recipe. Feel free to try it with your own special twist!

Shika's Simple Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 small regular or sweet onion and or bell pepper (chopped or sliced)

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt (any kind you desire)

  • 1 tablespoon pepper

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 (1lb. 7.75 oz) jar Prego Chunky Garden Combo Italian sauce

  • 1 (16 oz) box (pot- size) spaghetti noodles

  • 16oz. (1lb) ground beef

Directions

  1. Cook noodles as directed.

  2. On medium heat sauté the onion and/or bell pepper.

  3. Add the ground beef and cook until meat is well done.

  4. Add the Prego Chunky Prego Combo Italian sauce, season salt, pepper, sugar and garlic powder.

  5. Season salt, pepper, sugar and garlic powder can be used to your own flavor.

  6. Mix the sauce and noodles if you desire. I keep them separated
