Modesta Liles Back to School Tips

Modesta Liles is a graduate of Webster University with a an MBA.  She has her hands full working as an advertising tester for an American multinational technology company while also continuing her journey as a children’s book author. She presently resides in North Carolina with her children: daughter, Kaliyah (age 14), step-daughter, Aaliyah (age 15) son, Javonta (age 7) and her husband. "This is one of our favorites! Shrimp Alfredo

Shrimp Alfredo Modesta Liles Back to School

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. box ofBarilla fettuccine

  • 1 jar of Classico pasta sauce (Roasted Garlic Alfredo)

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 1 tablespoon of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon of parsley flakes

  • 1 lb. bag of shrimp

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. In a large pot add 2-4 cups of water, a tablespoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of salt, when it begins to boil add your fettuccine pasta and cook for about 10 -15 minutes.

  2. In a medium sized pan add your peeled shrimp, 1 tablespoon of garlic and ½ stick of butter for about three minutes (optional: add 1 tablespoon of parsley flakes)

  3. In another large sized pan add your sauce, once your sauce begins to thicken, add your cooked pasta.

  4. Then, place your shrimp on top of your pasta and enjoy!
